Transportation

It is recommended that guest travels to Phuket via the Phuket International Airport (HKT). Phuket is only one hour away from Bangkok by plane or you can opt for an international direct flight from abroad if you want to avoid the frenetic capital. It will take approximately 45 minutes from Phuket International Airport to Jirana Patong. There is no rail line down the Andaman coast so travelers who would like to take the train will have to take the train from Bangkok to the Gulf coast and then get across by bus. Overnight direct buses to Phuket are available daily from Bangkok.

Getting around Phuket is easy. You can rent a car or use the public transportation - three wheeled-Tuk Tuks, taxis, local buses or long tailed boats are always available for you to explore the pearl of the Andaman.
